Privacy notice

The calculators run locally in the browser and do not require an account. Optional analytics is denied by default, and AdSense code is absent.

Current operation

The site does not ask a reader to create an account or save calculator inputs to a Material Math Guide database. Calculations are performed in the browser. Our hosting provider may still process ordinary request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser and device information, referral data, security signals, and short-lived operational logs.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is not loaded by default. It is available only in a build with analytics explicitly enabled and a valid measurement ID, and even then the site makes no Google tag request until this browser has an explicit “granted” analytics choice. Use the persistent Cookie settings control in the footer to allow, deny, review, or revoke that choice. Google AdSense loader and tag code is not included in this release: even an ads flag and publisher ID cannot emit an ad request or ad-slot markup.

Conditional Google services

The privacy-gated consent mode v2 sequence keeps analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization denied before loading. After explicit analytics consent, only analytics_storage changes to granted; every advertising signal remains denied. If a configured visitor allows analytics, GA4’s default web collection can include users, sessions, and usage statistics, page and referral information, approximate geolocation, browser or device characteristics, and analytics identifiers such as a _ga client ID when analytics storage is permitted. Google describes these fields in its GA4 data collection reference.

The site stores only granted or denied under the versioned local key pmg_consent_v1. Unknown or corrupted values are treated as denied and removed. The preference does not contain calculator inputs or sensitive data. Revoking consent prevents loading on future pages and returns all four consent signals to denied. If GA4 already loaded on the current page, the tag cannot be unloaded; the interface therefore tells the reader to reload to stop that current page session. Retention follows configured Google product controls and applicable terms. Any later advertising activation remains subject to the Google Publisher Policies.

Choices, regions, and contact

The current Cookie settings control covers only this site’s optional analytics preference. It is not a Google-certified consent management platform and does not replace a Google-certified CMP or Transparency and Consent Framework flow. Task 15 or a later explicit activation review must implement approved certified CMP/TCF and advertising-consent integration before any loader code is introduced. Before Google publisher ads are served in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, that mechanism must disclose relevant parties and purposes, collect and record valid consent where required, and make withdrawal or revocation as easy as granting it.

Google documents basic consent mode, setting and maintaining consent choices, its EU User Consent Policy, policy help page, Guidelines for using Privacy & messaging, and Google-certified CMP requirements. Google also provides required data-use disclosure, cookie guidance for AdSense, and the Google Privacy Policy.
